Nathan Perry, Ph.D., is a Professor of Economics at Colorado Mesa University and the owner of Alvarium Economics, LLC. Dr. Perry has conducted numerous regional studies on economic development, covering areas such as energy, public lands, outdoor recreation, and economic growth. His academic work includes publications on deficits and debt, inflation, and the Great Depression. Dr. Perry produces quarterly economic newsletters for Mesa, Montrose, and Delta Counties, semi-annual newsletters for Garfield, Rio Blanco, Moffat, and Routt Counties, and an annual economic newsletter for Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties. He frequently presents on economic conditions in Western Colorado and the national economy, and teaches courses in Money and Banking, Econometrics, and Macroeconomics.
